Not a FML. Just because you love him isn't justification for a FML. He clearly loved someone else, one sided love is a farce. You can't truly be in love with someone unless you're with them. You're just infatuated with him.

If you realy loved him you'll want him to have what makes him happy. Even if it means being with your best friend. It sucks, I'm sorry, but if he's happy then you should be happy too =). And it sucks getting the courage to tell someone you like them sometimes. But next time make sure you at least get it out in a year.
