Today, I finally stood up to the guy who's been bullying me for the last 2 years. Even though he's been caught in the act several times, he never gets punished, so I figured I'd get away with gut-punching him. Nope. An hour later, I was suspended from school. FML
Today, I fought back with words against a bully. He cried, and I got detention. FML

Today, I finally decided to stand up for myself and quit my crappy job working for my abusive father. I gave him a few insults too, to which he reacted by calling the police and claiming I'd threatened to murder him. I spent three hours in jail before they finally let me go. FML
Today, I finally had it with the redneck bully who's been tormenting me. He was repeatedly poking and pinching me and laughing out loud during class, so I slung him to the ground, pinning him. I got suspended. They only called his parents, who never do anything; my "caring" parents are looking into teen boot camp. FML
Today, I finally confronted my bully. Too bad it was at my high school reunion and he beat the shit out of me. FML
Today, I finally had enough of my coworker mocking and misgendering my transgender daughter, so I screamed at him. I got written up and suspended without pay for 2 weeks. He got praise from our boss for handling the situation with class. FML
Today, I finally worked up the nerve to quit my job after being tortured by my boss for months. My boss responded by throwing a hardcover textbook at me and hitting me in the face. FML
Today, I was in school when a guy grabbed my breast, so I swore at him and shoved him away. I got detention and he walked away unpunished. FML

Well, I don't exactly promote violence, but when it comes to dealing with bullies, I suggest you do as the Australians and drop the bullies on their heads.

detention is a small price to pay for standing up for urself. and that 'run and tell the teacher' crap? its bs. itll only make u get bullied more. and if u have to fight a bully? even if u lose, u show em ur not gonna take sh** from no1. theyll seek other targets. take a stand, detention be damned

Same thing happened to me in yr 7, I beat up 4 guys and I got in trouble because they were smaller than me. I was 6ft tall and was told not to react to the bullying
