Wow I hope the therapist can talk some sense into your mum. Whether she agrees with your sexual orientation or not you're her son and should be one of her proudest achievements.
Yeah. The cool thing about therapy is the counselor can see who the actual whack job is. The stupid mom will end up getting the therapy & hopefully change her backward ways.
Dear OP, Uhh... your mother just politely gave you permission to write her out of your life if you so choose; guilt-and-regret-free in my opinion. Awfully considerate of her in a quasi-abusive sort of way. Your mom is a terrible person. Good luck with that. FYL.
Dear comment person # 15, get a life please. Stop trying to take the spotlight and if you want to be funny, write something that's actually worth reading. Until then, please stay off the internet where you are most likely going to hurt yourself with the way that small peanut brain works. Btw, FLY # 15.
justanotherhuman is right, if your mum thinks having a gay son is a disapointment, you can write her out of your life if you want to. As long as she lives, she will remember you as a disappointment, unless she accepts who you are.
74, I don't know why you felt the need to be an asshole, but they made a perfectly sensible comment. Op shouldn't have to deal with a mother like that if he doesn't want to.
74-This is they time when you need to listen to your own advice. You were an ass for no reason.
You guys are right. I agree OP should not have to live with that type of person in their lives, even if it is their mother. I'll take that I was an ass, but I found it rude, even if his comment was valid, the format he used. So yes, I was rude towards him. If this still offends I apologize but by no means think I don't agree that OP needs to remove the negative from his life.
151- I don't understand your critique of 15 at all. His/her comment is focused on the subject of OP's relationship with his mother (the very topic of the FML) and structured in a way most people can understand. Your comments, however, are the opposite. They are off topic, your sentence structure is confusing, your grammar is poor, and you used FLY instead of FYL.
I guess those type of hats are comfortable , personally never had one but i hear about em often.
People think we're either disgusting, not natural, against God, or even all three, and then they think it's appropriate to either bully us because we're different or try to "fix" us.
So your mom thinks it will bring you two closer by dissing and pissing on you to a perfect stranger? Sure, only your gun-shooting hand closer to her skull
