Today, I woke up with one of the worst migraines I've had in months. My mother (who thinks I'm a hypochondriac) began to scream at me about "making up an illness". When I asked for my meds, she called me an addict, and dumped my $300 prescription down the sink. FML

I'd say it's time to go to a judge to talk about emancipation

saying that 300$ seems a bit odd is completely stupid. it's America. has no one watched the news lately?

?????? I guess I wouldn't know having not watched the news in ages, but what are you talking about?

this one looks very familiar..

You didn't prove you're not a hypochondriac :>

Does retardness have no limit? P.S. It's not as your snickerdoodles, it's at those other retards in the thread..not that it'll make a difference to them anyway.

Your mom's a bitch. =/ Sorry to hear that dude.

Ooh ouch, I have a migraine today, it suuucks Dx

I feel you here! I've had chronic migraines since I was 21. It runs in my family so my mom is a lot more understanding.

Why does your mother have access to your medication, especially if she doesn't believe you? Definitely get your vitamin B12 checked to make sure it's between 350-900 - not just "normal." Do this because pernicious anemia, aka vitamin B12 deficiency, can cause migraines and it's considered a "rare" disease, so most doctors don't know anything about it and don't check for it. There are a lot of different treatments for it, such as a monthly injection in the hip, Nascobal which is an intra-nasal gel, and some people can even use sublingual lozenges or super vitamins. Untreated, pernicious anemia is fatal, so get your level checked yearly. My sister and I have pernicious anemia; her migraines were horrible before she was diagnosed, and my chronic headaches get worse if I don't have my shot regularly. Good luck.
