Figure out where they come from and put on fly-screens on every window that you intend to open.

One of those soda bottle fly traps might help? They don’t get full easily and you can make a bunch of them. But yeah like others hace said, check the neighbors, check the vents, keep the windows closed until you know where and why the flies are coming from

I get this in my house once a year, usually early spring. Hundreds of em, Cluster flies. In my case they come from where my sump pump drains. I feel your pain. I hang a bunch of strips near a light and turn off all the rest, they flock to it.

I had this happen to when I bought a house. Find the source! And be prepared for the next couple years, they'll keep reproducing there till you figure it out! Sucks, I'm sorry!

buy the fly traps that stick to the window, you can get them off Amazon, they work better than anything I have ever found.
