Today, I was walking to class with my roommate. She didn't notice the car coming up behind her because her headphones were in. As I pulled her out of the way, she thought I was goofing around and shoved me back... in front of the car. I got hit and rolled off the hood. FML

Today, while I was walking to class, I was hit by a car. The driver stopped to let me cross in front of her, started moving again, hit me, and then yelled at me, saying it was my fault for walking in front of her. FML

Today, while skating to school, I got hit by a car, In front of the school. I went flying and everyone saw. The girl who hit me only said, "Oops, didn't see you." FML

Today, I was in a car accident. After screaming at the woman for running into me, I got in my car and drove off. As I was driving away, I was staring her down when I ended up rear-ending the person in front of me. FML

Today, I was walking with my girlfriend when she began skipping ahead of me and out in to the street. I saw a car coming right at her so I tackled her to the ground to save her. Turns out the car was stopping and was never going to hit her, and my girlfriend doesn't appreciate concussions. FML

Today, I was skating to school and a car stopped then when I was skating across, then another car came and hit me and I went flying.. Her one response was ,"Oops, sorry, didn't see you." Everyone else saw me. FML

Today, I was messing around in computer class when somebody called my name from the hall. Trying to be smooth, I tried rolling my chair backwards out into the hall. The wheels wasted no time jamming and sending me crashing face-first into the floor in front of everyone. FML

Today, I was walking on a busy street. I saw this beautiful blonde walking across the street and a car was coming. I wanted to be like in the movies where the guy pushes the girl out of the way so she doesn't get hit. I accidentally pushed her the wrong way. Right into the car. FML

Today, I was walking out of the grocery store and out of no where, a car backing up pretty fast speeds downs the parking lot and hits me, causing me to fall down and drop all of the groceries. The woman jumped out of her car, not to help me, but to carefully check her bumper for scratches. FML

Easy mistake

Today, I parked my car on the street late at night, when I was distracted by a text message. Some guy then gets in my passenger side. Panicked, thinking I was being robbed, I bolt out of my car bruising my head and dropping my phone onto the pavement. The guy meant to get in the car behind me. FML

Sorry but roommate is an idiot for doing this. When you cross the road, you don't fool around. I don't care that the roommate thought OP was fooling around, roommate should had tried to make OP stop instead of retaliating and escalating the whole thing. I walk near a public high school everyday, so I often see a lot of teenagers crossing at a large intersection. You'd think by 16 they would know to cross carefully, but no, they don't. They fool around while waiting for the lights to turn green for pedestrians, and a few times some of them almost ended up tripping in front of a car. Not to mention those who race across the road when the light just turned red, those who jaywalk and those who start crossing without making sure incoming traffic has stopped (it's not because the light is green for pedestrians that all cars have stopped! You don't know who's behind the wheel!). And a lot of college/undergrad students I know can't behave any better at a red light. It's not even like they grew up in a country where they didn't have cars! They're from North America! Also, if you don't give 2 cents about your own life, at least think of the driver who might be wrongfully accused of killing a teenager because said teenager jumped in front of his car! Roommate is a douche for having the intention of retaliating. As for OP, I don't know. The fact that her roommate suspected her of fooling around might mean she fools around like that quote often. Or not. I can't tell.
