In the eye of the beholder

Today, I'm in the best shape of my life after losing 2.5 stone over 2 years. I never got any female attention when I was overweight, so I was quite surprised when at the gym an attractive woman came over and started flirting with me. It was going great, until she said, "You'd be perfect if you had a dad bod". FML
I agree, your life sucks 1 125

Reminds me of when I was a teenager. I had braces for 7 years which was a total girl repellent. 3 weeks before I was due to get them removed, I met a beautiful girl who thought my braces were "sooooo cute!". After I had them removed, she ghosted me.

yeah I'm in the same boat as you lost a bunch of weight thinking it would make me more attractive and now I seem to get less attention 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Believe it or not, there's studies that show women find dad bods more attractive than abs. It makes no sense to me but your bound to attract a girl that will love your fit bod.

Eh, you should only work out for you, not for others. If it's something you want to do, be it for appearance or health, that's fine. But if it's to appease others, that's not a valid reason to do so.

I personally never understood the whole 'dad bod' fad. Who wouldn't want to be with someone that actually took care of themselves??

when women say dadbod, they mean an off season body builder. like jason mamoa inbetween movies type body. keep your head up
