Today, I was at a party and saw this girl who used to be overweight. She'd lost a significant amount of weight and looked so good, I went to chat her up. She immediately told me to get lost. According to her, if I "didn’t appreciate her at her worst, I don’t deserve her at her best." FML

Today, I asked a girl from Bumble for a full body pic. She was obese, so I told her it wasn’t gonna work. She then sent a video of her in real time looking slim and told me that picture was from when she was obese, and she'd sent that picture as a “test of my character” and she’s “better off without someone so judgy.” FML

Sounds like she used to have a crush on you. But now she had managed to move on, AND get better with herself. Then she doesn't need people who used to cut her off. YDI

She wasn't wrong. Beauty, health, physical body changes, nothing is guaranteed and I would expect people to choose partners they like, have something in common and they have fun with each other. I met my partner and I was chubby, I weighed more. After 13+yes together we have aged together like great wine. We have never looked better physically and mentally, I don't care if looks change, his views on life and the way he speaks to me make me want to be with him. When I met him he looked like he just escaped prison, missing teeth and bad skin. I was chubby, sweaty and depressed. Today we have grown together and the physical attraction has only grown bigger yet last two years I have been on bedrest, having serious and embarrassing health issues, sex was off limits and every day after work he came home. When I we found out there's fertility issues, I told him to go and leave and he said he isn't with me for status and looks, he is with me because he likes me. In the end of the day at the death door we are all same

She's right. What do you want -- a cookie? If you were a true gentleman, you'd take on a pretty fattie, then fat-shame her into an eating disorder, get her to a hot weight and then get her therapy to get rid of the eating disorder when it no longer suits your purpose.

She's wrong. Overweight women are not attracting to majority of people so of course you had no interest in her. It's good that she took care of herself and everything, but she can't be mad that people didn't like how she looked.

How ppl like u are only attracted to looks baffles me. I never cared what someone looked like. i find unique personalities with a good sense of humor hot.

Someone being overweight is someone who doesn't take care of oneself and that's a red flag for me, in addition to them not being particularly attractive which makes the sex also worse and the physical attraction low.

Be careful, your misogyny’s showing

I would have said the exact same if it had been a guy... Not sure the reactions here would have been the same though, overweight is only acceptable if you are a woman these days.

If you base who you date solely on whether or not you want to bang them, you're not going to get very far in life.
