You should start med school right away! You'll learn how to perform a literally-ectomy on yourself and fix that annoying verbal tic. Is there a figurative way of putting off med school that is in common use? No? Then, "literally" adds nothing to that sentence and just wastes space. My question is: Did he get some?
You know you don't have to actually wait for the divorce to stop living together, right?
If she moves out she's probably not getting the house. And if he's the one who cheated, I have little problem with her getting it.
Once you file for divorce, at least in a “no fault” divorce state, there is no practical reason that either of you has to act like you are still married - It makes no difference. I cannot imagine continuing to live together once either one of you decide to get divorced - It never works out well when one of the soon to be divorced decides to start (or continue) dating and the unhappy couple are still living together. I understand that sometimes the cruel realities of a jointly owned home and not enough money to live separately cause couples in the process of separation or divorce sometimes to continue living together. But it’s never a happy time seeing your soon to be ex dating. When it’s over, it’s over and time to make a new plan.
