Hog on hog action

Today, I pulled someone over for speeding. He was only 10 over the speed limit so I gave him an $84 fine. It turns out he is a workplace Occupational Health and Safety officer and because I wasn't wearing my high visibilty vest while standing on the side of the road he gave me a $250 fine. FML

Yeah, God forbid he actually did his job. It's scum like you who think it's okay to break the law if it's "only a little."

Yeah I know. Totally. F*ck him for pulling someone over that was going over the speed limit. I hate when cops pull people over for breaking the law. What a c*ckhole of a policeman.

Urban myth... Heard the same thing about a copper in melbourne, victoria...

I feel for you bro, you're a cop, you kinda have to walk on the road to give people tickets. Plus, if he's a workplace officer, the side of the road isn't really your workplace. I don't see how that's legal, but of course I'm American, not Aussie

Should have took that ticket back marked it out and raised the fine lol

while 10kph/6mph may not seem like much, in a civil law suit (after someone gets hurt) the lawyers eat that up. 6mph could be the difference between losing a HUGE amount of money in a civil suit. I've seen a jury award a crazy amount of money because the driver was 4 or 5 mph over the speed limit.

Cops at least where I live blow past me going 30 over without lights or a siren on a daily basis, yet I've had my license suspended for getting 3 tickets, each one being less than 5 mph over

Haha, what a great way non-verbal way to say **** you!
