Today, I pulled someone over for speeding. He was only 10 over the speed limit so I gave him an $84 fine. It turns out he is a workplace Occupational Health and Safety officer and because I wasn't wearing my high visibilty vest while standing on the side of the road he gave me a $250 fine. FML

Today, I was pulled over by a cop and was fined $210 for making an illegal u-turn. When the cop finished writing my ticket and hopped in his car, he made the same u-turn. FML

Today, I was pulled over and was given a $300 ticket for going 90mph on a 70mph highway. The cop swore he saw my silver car darting in and out of traffic. A couple of minutes earlier that exact car had passed me while I was following the speed limit. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding and got a $200 ticket. After I pulled away, I decided to warn the next car about the cop up ahead by flashing my headlights. The next car was another cop. He didn't appreciate my "help". FML

Today, I was pulled over by a police officer for speeding. After writing the ticket, he asked me why I was wearing a surgical mask. I told him that swine flu was found in our area and I was scared. He thought that I was insulting him and wrote me another ticket. FML

Today, I got pulled over for speeding. Knowing how much more it would cost in the long run, I handed the officer my license with $300 in cash, "as something to consider for just a warning." He came back with a ticket and verbally warned me that police bribery is a felony. He kept the money. FML

Today, I crashed into a pole on purpose as a cop pulled me over for speeding. I figured the officer would feel bad for me and that the cost of fixing my car would be less than a ticket. He gave me one anyway. FML

Today, I was on the way to traffic court for a $340 speeding ticket I'd got. My mother called me and I wasn't paying attention which caused me to speed. Right past a cop. When I told the cop where I was going, he started laughing at me. I now have another $300 ticket. FML

Well here is one (of many) cops are asshole encounters I have had. I was driving my girlfriend to a mall to get her some new boots she just had to have. Living on a state line we had to drive to the other state to get to this particular mall. On the way there I get pulled over. When asked if I knew why I had been pulled over I replied no as I really had no idea (wasnt speeding, car had up to date registration etc). He told me he pulled me over for a "dim" tailight. Looking at them very closely one was indeed dimmer than the other (but so slightly so as to not make a real difference). While writing me a ticket for this, the officer notices a crumpled up brown bag on the rear floor of my car ( I brown bag my lunch for work). He then proceeds to rip my car apart throwing a weeks worth of lunch bags soda cans etc out onto the road and shoulder of the road. Upon finding nothing he tells me to pick up all that shit on the road or I will get fined for littering ( $500). So there I am picking up his litter on the side of the road at night in the rain in 40 degree weather because I had a "dim" taillight. Most cops I have ever encountered are the power hungry abusive assholes people think they are. And as for the ones that aren't they don't speak out against the ones that are and are just as guilty for not trying to change that.

Hey I know my fair share of good and bad cops but the good ones I know try to get the bad ones fired but can't because the only proof they have is a shit ton of tickets from those cops.
