Halloween
A failed costume, stolen candy and a very real scare: Halloween, the one night when fear is allowed.
Today, I discovered that when my parents offered to help me pay for college, what they really meant is they would get the forms for me to apply for student loans. FML
Today, my parents gave me a letter they'd forgotten about since late last year. In it was a $30,000 scholarship to a local master's program with an application due date of two weeks ago. FML
Today, my fiancée "thought I should know" that she has a $125,000 student loan debt. FML
Today, I found out that my parents are 28,000 dollars in debt and that my bank account has $27.17 in it. They took my money to help pay their debt. FML
Today, my husband announced the reason he had been working since much is because he had secretly paid off my tens of thousands of student loans. I then had to tell him I'm leaving him for his best friend. FML
Today, I called my dad to ask why my university tuition had not been paid. He said that my school was "too expensive" and he "couldn't afford it." He then asked me if I would take in his mail while he was away. He was taking his new wife to Hawaii; apparently it's beautiful this time of year. FML
Today, my wife received a $15,000 bonus from her work. I got a backpack from mine. FML
Today, my father's company shut down his branch, leaving him without a job. This is followed by a letter from my school's financial aid office, saying I'm not getting a penny because my family's income level is too high. FML
Today, my boyfriend of two years asked me to marry him so that we can consolidate our student loans. FML
Today, my husband fell for an online scam leaving us 1450.00 in the negative. We get paid tomorrow and most of our money is going to cover that debt. FML

This guy should get an envelope, mark "Thank You" on it and insert a printed version of all these comments. The aunt and uncle are jerkoffs for the way they did it, not that they didn't give any money. If you think otherwise you are an idiot.

And of course the onus is on them to pay off your loans. Stop whining and just pay the ******* loans.

Just in case their real message went over your head.... Learn to be smart about money and work hard. I bet that article might actually help you with your loans if you actually read it.

I had a dream about this FML last night! It was scripted perfectly too! Haha imagine this and a mixture of the twilight zone. What a strange dream.

what else do u expect...? just because they're rich, doesn't mean they are obligated to help you out... you spent it, you pay it!
