If that's a frequent occurrence, you should take her to the doctor about it... It could be that she has an actual nervous system disorder if things as small as bumping her hand on something cause that level of reaction.
At least you avoided a trip to the ER.
Check it with the doc. It doesn't seem normal at all and oversensitivity to pain may be caused by something not cool
Maybe she can no longer withstand the pain of dealing with a judgemental parent.
