Today, my daughter lightly bumped her hand on a wall, cried and screamed for 5 minutes, vomited, then passed out. She’s 19. FML

If that's a frequent occurrence, you should take her to the doctor about it... It could be that she has an actual nervous system disorder if things as small as bumping her hand on something cause that level of reaction.

Check it with the doc. It doesn't seem normal at all and oversensitivity to pain may be caused by something not cool

Not unexpected at 19 months. She’ll outgrow it.

Pain is subjective. Maybe she hurt herself worse than you think

Was thinking the same thing. No tolerance for pain is a serious thing. Definetly not an FML or something for a Mom to make fun of her daughter for!

19 years or 19 months? If thats years, life will kick her in the ass and be very overwhelming. Hope you dont mind her living at home for another 10 years....

Maybe she can no longer withstand the pain of dealing with a judgemental parent.

So instead of being concerned and getting a doctor to find out what could be causing such an intense reaction in your daughters body, you head to the internet to bitch about her? Mother of the year 🙄

She could have popped a vein in her hand. For some people there is a huge intense overwhelming pain for about a minute, which I’ve seen people pass out from.
