Today, I heard my sister screaming from the basement, "Don't you hit me, you asshole!" Knowing her boyfriend was over, I ran downstairs with my baseball bat, ready to smash the fucker hitting my sister. Turns out they were just playing Mario Kart and he rammed her off the edge of a bridge. FML

Today, my brother got upset at his video game and flung his DS at the wall, just as I was walking by. I got knocked out to the sound of someone crossing the finish line in MarioKart. FML

Today, I got punched in the face after I beat my stepbrother at Mario Kart. I didn't really get hurt, but he managed to break a finger. My stepmom blamed the whole thing on me, accusing me of being violent and a bad influence on her son. FML

Today, my sister and I got into an argument at a tennis court which ended up with her trying to run me over in the parking lot. I stepped to the side and hit her door, denting it. My parents expect me to pay for the damage caused by my sister trying to kill me. FML

Today, my little sister chased me around the house with a mallet, giggling like a maniac. I ended up having to pin her to the ground, rip the mallet out of her hand and lock her in the bathroom. This isn't the first time. My mom still insists it's perfectly normal. FML

In situations like that there's no time to analyze what's happening. Anyone with a sister or just a mom should know that you don't think or consider this that the other you just hear your sister or mom calling for help (op did say she screamed it) and you rush to help them. Just think that if you were to stand there for even 30 seconds listening the boyfriend can be standing over her with a bat of his own beating her face in while you stand upstairs like a pussy

I would go batshit crazy if I heard my sister screaming at her boyfriend to stop hitting her, too. (sorry for the double comments. I meant to add this to the end of my first comment. I think this is a sign that I need sleep.)
