Something tells me you weren’t grounded because of grades and you were clearly ignoring your grounding. Extending your time being grounded is pretty standard when you break it. The point is you’re not supposed to be able to do fun things until you’re ungrounded, end of story. The #1 rule for a teenager is “Don’t piss of your mom, it will never end well for you.”
I take it your mom also doesn't believe that things like adhd are real, huh? If by some miracle she does take that seriously, try presenting her with some info on it. Not diagnosing you by any means, but it's very common for those with adhd to need background stimuli while performing more monotonous tasks like homework.
