Today, my boyfriend called me explaining that he is getting married this weekend to a woman he met on Craigslist. Why? Because I won't marry him, and he'll make an extra thousand dollars per month having a wife since he is in the army. FML

Today, my boyfriend of over two years said he wants to get married before he leaves for basic training. Not because he loves me, but because he'll get paid more if he's married. This is the only time he's been excited about marriage. FML
Today, my fiancé and his family accused me of being with him only because he's rich, refusing to go ahead with the wedding. I accepted his marriage proposal 4 years ago, when he was penniless and unemployed. FML
Today, my fiancé told me that he expects me to agree to quit my job to cook and clean after we get married, or he will not show up at our wedding. He earns minimum wage and my salary is 17 times higher than his. FML
Today, the guy that I'm in love with and plan to marry some day told me he would choose a million dollars over me. I got upset and told him I no longer want to be with him. In an excited voice he said, "Really? So are you serious I don't have to worry about this love stuff anymore?" FML
Today, my boyfriend told me I should finish school early and get a job so we can get married, because then he'll have enough money to buy the truck he's had his eyes on for our whole relationship. FML
Today, I found out why my boyfriend of 5 years won't propose/marry me. He would rather wait for his estranged wife to meet someone, fall in love, decide to get married, and do the filing herself. He doesn't want to pay the couple of hundred dollars for the uncontested divorce filing. FML
Today, my boyfriend told me he's prepared to commit to marriage, but only if I buy my own ring and tell everyone he surprised me with it. FML
Today, I found out that my long-distance boyfriend just got married because his "real" girlfriend is pregnant. FML
Today, my "boyfriend" told me that he loves money more than me and would date it if he could. FML
Today, while talking on the phone with my long-distance boyfriend, he let me know that he was getting married in August to "some girl" for his papers. After I objected, he told me, "Well, you can marry me if you want." I'm not sure if I just got dumped or proposed to. FML

Greedy little asshat, you are probably better off without him since he obviously values money over a relationship, honor, self-respect... etc. Look on the bright side. He'll probably catch a whole host of sexually transmitted diseases if he sleeps with her and considering she is off craigslist, he's taking a huge risk.

The so-called 'woman' he's marrying is probably a dude named Rick, who has a '70s **** star mustache and pedophile glasses. Either way, why would you still go out with him if you didn't intend on staying together for a while? I understand a casual date here and there with a few guys, but to go out for a long period of time with a guy, with no intention of staying together... I don't understand that entirely.

Or, in case you don't live in America, then they fight for MY freedom. Do you think each member of the military signed their contract with a special "but only in this situation, or this one, or this one will I serve my country" clause? **** no they didn't. They signed up to fight for this country, no matter what. They didn't choose these current wars, they just do their job. So sit at your computer, nice and safe, whether you are in America or not, and keep pretending that you are better than everyone. Soldier's don't fight for my freedom, they are forced to fight for their commander's imperialistic urges. America is not freer because of this war (though some previous wars would meet that criteria) and someone who joins the military during a war time had better believe in that war, or they are already the mindless drones that the military wants.
