Today, after being so jaded by failed relationships, I'd given a guy who slid into my Facebook Messenger a chance. We'd entered the talking stage, only to be told four months later that he’s found a girlfriend, and no longer wants to continue this interaction and blocked me. FML

Maybe his online wife caught him and he was afraid to lose his cyber house and custody of his virtual kids.

Online or in person, sometimes it just isn’t working for both persons or sometimes something better or more intimate comes along. Relationships are voluntary and ether person gets to call it off if they choose for whatever reasons they have. Rejection always hurts, of course. Give yourself some time to get over it then move on. In the future - On line can be a way to meet people you might not have otherwise meet or notice. But if the relationship doesn’t soon become an in person one then it’s just fantasy and mental ************. I also do not recommend long distance relationships unless the distance is temporary.
