......how......
That has happened to me OP... It's nothing personal I'm sure, just tell her that you want to go on a date soon and everything will be alright :)
At least no one got shot here.
Perfect reference, perfect movie
I'm sorry that she's having financial problems.
Or she thinks their friends. Or friends with benefits. Or just casually dating, not necessarily in a relationship.
Was it one of those situations where somebody was on the phone and you thought they were talking to you? (Eg "Hello" "Oh, hi" "I saw you earlier, looking great" "Wow, thanks! You don't look so bad yourself" "Yeah, hold on, this person thinks I'm talking to her") I've been there, OP. Numerous times. In fact, I have a couple of kids from just such a relationship.
you have kids? I feel bad for them
What we have here is failure to communicate.
exactly what happens when you don't talk with eachother and define a relationship!

well, that's a slight miscommunication.
Happend the other way around to me, this guy thinking we were together. Don't know which is worse... Life lesson learned: always ask someone to be your boyfriend/girlfriend and don't just assume you are in a relationship. Communication is quite important, as it seems.
