Today, I told my boyfriend the dentist said my blood pressure was high. He was more interested in the fact that the dentist took my blood pressure than my blood pressure being high. FML

Well I've never heard of a dentist who takes people's blood pressure either.

Blood pressure goes up and down. It's totally normal. What is not normal, is your dentist taking your blood pressure. Was their a breast exam too?

im confused at what the fml is for in this situation. is it because OP realised that dentists arent supposed to take blood pressure, that their blood pressure was high, or that the boyfriend didnt pay attention to the fact that OP's blood pressure was high?

I learned how to take blood pressure in my dental assisting class, we all thought it was kind of weird.
