Today, a cop pulled me over because there was a sign hidden behind a tree that said "No left turn". As I was getting my ticket, I watched as three cars turned left. The cop saw them, laughed, and said, "I guess you're the unlucky one." FML

Today, I was pulled over by a cop and was fined $210 for making an illegal u-turn. When the cop finished writing my ticket and hopped in his car, he made the same u-turn. FML
Today, I was going 73 in a 55 on a country road when an oncoming cop passed me. He pulled a U turn. I turned off the main road and took random turns. I got lost, was 30 minutes late to work, and the cop still found me and gave me two tickets. I had to ask him for directions. FML
Today, I was driving home from work when I saw a cop come up behind me. Nervous about my expired license, I kept checking in my rear view mirror. In turn since I wasn't paying attention, I ran a stop sign. Needless to say the cop pulled me over and gave me 2 tickets. FML
Today, a policeman pulled me over and proceeded to flirt with me. After I had rejected him, he gave me a ticket for "not paying attention to the road". FML
Today, I learned that making an illegal U-turn right after you see a cop doing one will not stop said cop from ticketing you. FML
Today, while I was driving, a police officer jumped out from the sidewalk and into my lane. I slammed on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He then gave me a ticket for "obstructing traffic." FML
Today, I got pulled over for speeding and got a $200 ticket. After I pulled away, I decided to warn the next car about the cop up ahead by flashing my headlights. The next car was another cop. He didn't appreciate my "help". FML
Today, I was driving down a completely empty street when a cop pulled me over for no reason at all. When he approached my window, I began to get defensive until he informed me I was driving the wrong way down a one way street. FML
Today, I was at a stop light when I saw a cute police officer at the light across the intersection. Trying to be cute as I drove by, I turned and winked and waved. The car in front of me stopped, I rear-ended them, and then I got rear-ended. The cute cop winked back, then wrote me a ticket. FML
Today, I was learning to drive a stick when a cop decided to pull me over just to laugh at me. FML

Yeah thats just how cops are, thats why you always have to be careful no matter what. I got a speeding ticket last week because my car stood out from everyone elses going the same speed as me.

Make sure you take a picture of the sign and fight that in court.....do it soon before they have a chance to trim the tree.

Don't know about the rules in usa but if the sign was hidden to the sight from the road o would note where i was and the name of the cop, then i would take him to court, win the case (mostly according ti the law) and then go "i guess i wasen't so unlucky after all was i?"

And I shit you not, the cop replies: "Have you ever been fishing?" To which my dad answers: "yes, I have." Ill admit there are asshole cops who abuse their power. But you can't say "all cops are assholes" or anything just like you can't say "all white dudes can't dance", or all tall people can play basketball or all Jews are cheap. Also I think cops should get some slack cuz what happens when someone kills someone or someone runs into a place with a gun? Every one runs away and it's the cop that runs in. They put their life on the line and put a target on their back just by wearing their badge to be able to help ensure we all can live our lives peacefully.

When would we actually need one? Real men can police themselves and need only the coroner or repair person once we have it settled. Even here in Canada we know calling the cops is a waste of time, they're not equipped for problem solving, just traffic enforcement and taking witness statements.

#27 I have seen it done before. one time I even saw a cop an foot stop 3 cars at once. if you leave he has your license plate #, and you will be royally screwed.

Yeah cause they'll do that quick. Once my grandma got a ticket for running a stop sign that was turned sideways and covered by trees and when she went to take a picture of it the next day, the trees were trimmed and the stop sign was fixed... -.-
