Today, a cop pulled me over because there was a sign hidden behind a tree that said "No left turn". As I was getting my ticket, I watched as three cars turned left. The cop saw them, laughed, and said, "I guess you're the unlucky one." FML

Today, I was pulled over by a cop and was fined $210 for making an illegal u-turn. When the cop finished writing my ticket and hopped in his car, he made the same u-turn. FML
Today, I was going 73 in a 55 on a country road when an oncoming cop passed me. He pulled a U turn. I turned off the main road and took random turns. I got lost, was 30 minutes late to work, and the cop still found me and gave me two tickets. I had to ask him for directions. FML
Today, I was driving home from work when I saw a cop come up behind me. Nervous about my expired license, I kept checking in my rear view mirror. In turn since I wasn't paying attention, I ran a stop sign. Needless to say the cop pulled me over and gave me 2 tickets. FML
Today, a policeman pulled me over and proceeded to flirt with me. After I had rejected him, he gave me a ticket for "not paying attention to the road". FML
Today, I learned that making an illegal U-turn right after you see a cop doing one will not stop said cop from ticketing you. FML
Today, while I was driving, a police officer jumped out from the sidewalk and into my lane. I slammed on the brakes so I wouldn't hit him. He then gave me a ticket for "obstructing traffic." FML

Today, I was at a stop light when I saw a cute police officer at the light across the intersection. Trying to be cute as I drove by, I turned and winked and waved. The car in front of me stopped, I rear-ended them, and then I got rear-ended. The cute cop winked back, then wrote me a ticket. FML

Yeah thats just how cops are, thats why you always have to be careful no matter what. I got a speeding ticket last week because my car stood out from everyone elses going the same speed as me.

Make sure you take a picture of the sign and fight that in court.....do it soon before they have a chance to trim the tree.

cops just suck. In todays recession and with the 250 strong PD in my town, people get pulled over for stupid things. In your case, the cops an a**hole.

How exactly is the cop an asshole for ticketing someone who made an illegal turn? It's not the cops fault the sign is obstructed. If they made exceptions for everyone that claimed they couldn't see a sign they'd never be able to punish anyone who willfully disregarded them.

They only didn't get pulled over because the cop was already busy writing the ticket. They can not just jump and grab everyone. If people didnt complain about An increase in the police budgets all the time than there would be more cops out there to catch everyone breaking the law.

While that's unfortunate, what exactly did you expect the cop to do? Leave you sitting on the side of the road and chase after the other offenders? Take a picture showing the sign is hidden and take it to court. You won't be convicted and the court will make sure the offending tree is removed or the sign replaced.
