First of all, do you feel like you would be safe if you come out? Will you have the support you need or do you need to talk to some more supportive people in your life? When I came out, I planned it to happen right before something fun and affirming so even if it went bad, I had something I could go to.
Hey, fellow FTM! Two options: 1. Put on a fireworks show\dance number that ends with you whipping a fake wig off to reveal a sensible masculine haircut and jazzy male 80's rocker look; 2. Sit down with your family and say 'hey, I know this is a surprise, but I'm a guy', and see where the chips fall. Do not do either of these until you are very sure you can afford housing on your own.
