Today, I took my son to the playground and watched him have fun. Minutes later, I was being shoved around and called a pedophile because I was there alone with no wife. By the time I convinced them I was innocent, my son was bawling. FML

Ok #44 I did, I did some research, and here's the facts: women get custody of children in a divorce 80% of the time, and in some states the mother is automatically given preference. Another fact, every American MALE, (not person, but man) in between the ages of 18 - 25 have to sign up for the draft, which means they could be put into the military at any time without their consent. Last fact for today, on average women get put in prison only half as often as a man who commuted the same crime, there are so many examples of things like this, look it up.

And this, my dear friends, is sexism. Real, gross, sexism towards men. OP, I'm sorry you had to go through that and now that you have to explain to your son what the heck happened and why. You can report that to the police though, as it was assault and you can get some sort of closure out of that. I hope you can explain this to your son in a way that doesn't make any future problems, stay safe.

Dude that sucks and I feel ya, can't relate but as a stay at home dad during the day i will say it is unfair how we are treated. I can appreciate people trying to protect but damn get the facts straight first.
