Today, at my job as a night janitor, at which I work alone, I saw an old man enter a bathroom. When I went to investigate, it was completely empty. I'm now scared to work. FML

Have you not seen any horror movies? The next time that occurs you drop the mop and run as far away as you can in the opposite direction. Don't go investigating. That's how people get killed.

Well if it was a ghost, he sounds harmless. He walked into the bathroom, It made no threats or anything. I would be more intrigued vs scared.

Because the place was closed for the evening. OP was the only one authorized to be inside the premises, and just saw a man walk past him who had no business being there.
