Wealth gap

Today, a coworker threw my lunch in the trash. They'd just got back from holidays, and I use the same containers they do. My leftovers "looked like something they'd eat", so they thought it was something they'd forgotten before going on holidays. It was leftovers that I'd been spacing out, trying to make last till payday. FML

You should put your name on your items just to prevent these kinds of things from happening

You know, putting a post it note or writing your name on similar containers solves the “same containers I use” dilemma. I put my name on all my containers.

Rookie mistake for putting food in attractive packaging in a common fridge. I've put my lunch in a Roach Motel box or a Giant Size Preparation H box and have never been robbed (or dicked.)

That sucks OP, sounds like they owe you a lunch from Timmy’s or somewhere else cheap. And in the future, label all your containers!

YDI for not labelling your name on the containers.

Tell them that next time they should ask first.

if they weren't in the garbage long then you could still eat them. also, please tell me you didn't put the whole weeks worth in that fridge...
