Today, while working at McDonald's, a woman asked me what came on a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit. Trying not to laugh, I respond, "Bacon, egg, and cheese." She then realizes the stupidity of her question, and launches three dollars worth of quarters at my face and says, "Laugh at that, jerk." FML

Today, while checking out a couple at work, I handed them their receipt and wished them a good day. The woman promptly pulled her husband to the side, and whispered to him about how much of a "fucking idiot" I was for making the prices so high. I work at McDonald's. FML

Today, while at work, a rather large woman came in and ordered a cheeseburger. When asking if she would like to supersize it, she took her purse, smacked me, and told me she wasn't fat, and how rude I was for calling her supersized. I was just doing my job. FML

Today, while working at a dollar store, I was clobbered by a woman because apparently, I was ripping her off by charging two dollars for two doughnuts. She didn't understand that she couldn't buy multiple items at once for one dollar. FML

Today, I was at McDonald's. As I left the counter with the food, I heard the cashier mutter, "Fat ass." I turned around and demanded to see the manager. Once he came and heard the situation, he looked at me and said, "Well, it's not like he's wrong, right?" FML

Today, I saw a man help an elderly lady with her tray at the local McDonald's. I wanted to do something nice for him, so I added a couple extra nuggets in his meal. He later came up to me and told me I was dumb and didn't know how to count, and that was why I was working at McDonald's. FML

Today, at Burger King, I was coming back from break. A customer screamed at me because she ordered a double cheeseburger without pickles, and they were put on anyway. She threw it in my face. My face was covered in ketchup mustard and pickle. Did I mention I was on a break and had nothing to do with this? FML

Today, while waiting tables, I watched a woman pull the bacon off her roast beef melt and eat it. She then called me over and spent several minutes complaining about the our chefs' inadequacy because they didn't put bacon on her sandwich. FML

I worked at a Rallys/Checkers for two and a half years in high school. There's nothing wrong with an honest job, even if it is shit. At least she's out working. Let's be fair here. People are ******* stupid. For instance, I once had a Big Buford thrown at me through the drive thru window. Why? Because "the pickles aren't in the right spot." My personal favorite, "I don't want anything on it but mustard." ... "OK, so a Big Buford, only mustard?" ... "No, I don't want anything on it but mustard." Some folks just don't see the connections.

agreed! i'm a bartender and hear this sort of stupidity every day. it keeps the job interesting, and after a while nothing will surpise you. the most you can do is smile, be polite, and have a good laugh in the kitchen after they leave. :)

OP - I've had worse, trust me on that one. Though, I feel bad for you... I had a lady ask about the same sandwich, except she was a lot nicer and laughed at her mistake. This is my favourite: "How much are the dollar drinks?"
