I find your use of "irregardless" somewhat ironic. lol Sure, it's a word NOW, but only through repeated misuse. Double-negative argument, you understand.

iv had this exact same argument! turns out i was pronouncing it wrong. i was saying it as if it rhymed with rapid, when in fact it's pronounced vay-pid. at least, it is in the UK, not sure about across the pond

Try having to constantly explain what the words "insipid" and "vague" mean. That becomes tiresome.
