Today, the seat in my car broke and wouldn't move forward. I had to walk to school in the rain because I was too short to reach the pedals. FML

why did you need to move the seat forward? shouldn't it have already been set? if not why do you slide the seat back every time you get out?

The same thing happens to me in my dad's explorer. What you should have done was put the seat fully vertical, because that should still move even if the seat itself doesn't move, and then from there put full-sized pillows behind you until you can comfortably reach the pedals.(:
