Today, someone knocked on my door. I yelled "Yeah?" while getting up, since it was locked. My grandpa walked in, as I apparently didn't actually lock it. I was naked. FML

I assume your a grand daughter and it's not that terrible at least it wasn't like the whole family

I didn't say being a girl made it not as bad I said at least it was only one person and not the whole family and depending on the gender it's not as bad for male family to see male family so I assumed it's a girl.

To be fair, unless you specify that in some way, such as the gender symbol or writing it in, one would assume male.

When I yell “yeah” or anything else when someone knocks to means come in. So I suggest not saying anything besides “hold on” until you open the door or make sure you lock it
