Today, my wife yelled at me for being a bastard and not caring about her needs. I felt like an asshole and apologized for everything. It took me a few hours to realize I'd basically just apologized for unknowingly hanging the toilet paper the "wrong way" for her OCD. FML

Put the money in her wallet facing different directions. It's hilarious to watch .

for everyone saying "she has more problems than OCD" thats not even thinking about the wife. OCD is really hard, and its difficult once you notice something thats "wrong" to ignore it. if they talk about it and they both understand that A) the husband isnt doing it on purpose and B) OP realizes its OCD and she doesnt need to be upset at her husband, then everything should be okay. just takes patience and practice

Is your wife getting treatment for this? It sounds like your home life has to be incredibly stressful, for both of you, if she's being triggered into shouting you down for something you did unintentionally.

She may have taken to far, but seriously there a right and wrong way for the tp to go.

Sometimes, if a woman is angry, it's not really about what she says it's about. There is some area of your life with her that you ARE disappointing her. Discover that and fix it. Oh, and when she's all worked up talking is really no help. A playful or silly loving act might do the trick to bring her out of it.

If you hung the toilet paper so that you roll it towards the wall then you Should have apologized, that's a despicable thing to do ocd or not

You should care about your wife not only sexually but financially as well and try to fullfil her needs:-)

My husband has OCD and by the time we got married the little things that set his OCD off were second nature not to do for me. Sounds like you are probably being inconsiderate and ignoring what you know to be her triggers. If to many things trigger my husband he has severe anxiety attacks over it. If she doesn't have real diagnosed OCD then she needs to calm down and try not being so anal.

Atleast you put new paper on the roll. Most of the people in my household don't.

I know it may sound stupid but OCD can be crippling. if I'm walking with 2 people and one goes in one door and the other goes in another I can't step through a door. or around a light pole.. I just can't step forward.. It's that bad. And it's all because of my OCD

Was she actually diagnosed with OCD, or are you just saying she has it because that's easier? Also, there is only one right way to hang the toilet paper. Over the top, not hanging down the back.
