Today, I told my family that I wanted to change my last name to my future wife's. We want to have the same last name, and we chose hers because she is an only child, while I have three brothers. Today, I was talking to a new friend when I told him my last name. It’s hyphenated. He then left and declared me to be a "stuck-up bitch" who thinks she’s "too good to take a man’s last name." This is the name I was born with. FML

When I was 14 I had a horse he's name was Murphy my mom got me this horse mostly because of the name. Anyway a yr later I had to let Murphy retire because of my health, 6 yrs later I'm 22 and in a relationship with the love of my life he's last name is Murphy, almost all my friends think I'm with him because he's last name is Murphy and knowing I'm gonna be marry Brett Murphy one day. Meaning that my last name will be Murphy. Point is yes my boyfriends last name is the same as my old horse But that doesn't mean that I'm with him just because of he's last name. Just because the person your dating has a cool last name doesn't mean anything
