I would assume it was based on who booked it first but I could be wrong. As at leat one other person said if they host that then you are probably better off finding a nicer place for a wedding.
The bingo night is probably a weekly or monthly thing
*least
Then they should not have booked the OP's wedding for there, knowing about the regular bingo.
"Christ Greg, I know you're new but how could you forget about spaghetti bingo night?"
That sucks, but I'm pretty sure it was for the best. A wedding is a special occasion, if your venue canceled something so important for a night of bingo and spaghetti... Well lets just say I won't cast ALL the blame on the them.
Yeah. OP should have used her psychic abilities to foresee any dick move on the part of the venue when booking her wedding. Duh.
Needless to say my comment was cut short, but I was referring to the quality of the venue choice for a wedding than her "psychic abilities".
What if they couldn't or didn't want to spend a lot of money on venue? Or it could have been a really nice place. OR, like where I got married, there was literally ONE place that could hold 50 people or more.
You'd be very surprised what some imagination could do to a plain hall and equally surprised at the events churches can host.
some people take their bingo pretty hardcore
I hope your wedding is not too close so that you can find another place. Definitely get your money back and tell everyone you know not to book there because they don't honor their bookings
Spaghetti-bingo night sound better then a wedding.I must attend this event.
More important? lol your a customer, your reasons arent important, if they booked first, they get it
if it's just a venue then it depends on the amount of time you're using the space. a wedding might be there a few extra hours but bing is every week
Dafuq does this even mean

Time to crash bingo night.
I'm curious about this venue. Is it really a good place for a wedding if they have things like spaghetti bingo night?
