Today, my usual 15 minute return trip from the fabric store took almost an hour and a half due to traffic. Once I finally got home, I realized I misunderstood the pattern I'm using and only bought half the fabric I needed. FML

Really people? Some fabric patterns are really hard, or don't explicitly state how much fabric is needed. Even someone who constantly sews can make a mistake, especially if it's a new pattern they're using. Try learning how difficult it actually is to sew before trying to make the op feel terrible.

If the few comments here (only 6 total right now, and most are just in jest) are enough to make OP feel terrible then maybe they shouldn’t post on FML of all places.
