Today, my sister had her first kiss. She was very excited and she told me all about it. She then asked me to tell her about the first time I kissed a guy, what it was like, who it was with, etc. I had to make one up. I have never been kissed before. My sister is 6 years younger than me. FML

So what if she's 6 years younger than you. Why lie about something so trivial? That's far more lame than not being kissed yet. And I find it strange that you felt the need to mention that you're 6 years older than her but did not specify your age. So if she's 13 and just had her first kiss, that would only make you 19 and still young enough to not make it a big deal. Trust me, there are far more horrible things in life to worry about than a first kiss. Don't worry yourself about it!

Tomorrow, when she's sobbing into her pillow because the jackass kissed someone else, you'll be thankful.

You didn't have to lie, you could have just told her you haven't had one yet. God, I don't get why people have to lie about this. I know people will say I probably wouldn't, but I would not lie if anyone asked me about my first kiss.

Don't worry about it. I got my first kiss at 19, and I think it was much better than getting it in middle school. I am still with the guy, and the relationship is serious, as opposed to middle school relationships which are quite fickle.

that's not true. I got my first kiss from my first boyfriend at 13. now he's my ex, and we're best friends. he's still the most considerate, fun, sweet guy i know and he treated me great. we had a better relationship than a lot of ones i see between older people and i'll consider myself lucky to meet another guy as good as him

I don't get why you had to make up a lie? Because you lied, you now feel worst than had you just came up with a truth. Life isn't a race where you have to be like everyone else. Life is about telling truths and being yourself. If you haven't been kissed, just say, "I wouldn't know cause I never been kissed." No one is going to judge you, or anything. However, if you lied, you best hope no one finds out cause it's going to make you look ten times worst and desperate.

You'd better get to work... in about a week she'll be telling you about the first time she had sex. The younger they are, the faster they move.

YDI for making up a story. There's got to be a reason you haven't had a kiss. If you're so jealous that you had to make up a story, maybe it's time you look in a mirror and change what's wrong with you that makes you so fundamentally unappealing to everyone. No one's saying run out and kiss someone just to get a kiss, but if you're ashamed to admit the truth, it must mean you want to kiss someone.

It's probably not about being ashamed so much as not losing the respect of the younger sister.

that's not that bad. most guys think it's cool to be the first guy she's kissed.

Eh, first kisses suck. I got mine from the person I like last weekend, and it was a chaste "best friends forever!" kiss. Just wait for the right person, and hugs are better IMO :D

First kisses don't suck if they progress to making out within 5 minutes ;-)

I'm in college and I have never kissed someone. Well, sort of in 6th grade but it was to make her feel better so it doesn't count.
