Today, my psychiatrist asked me if I felt bad about my weight. When I said no, he looked surprised and said, "Why not?" FML

And how does that make you feel?

How are you sure OP isn't in denial about their weight? If not, beat him like a drum kit,

His job is to find out what is wrong with people and how they tick. being overweight is every bit an addiction as drugs or gambling. The main difference is that everyone can see your addiction when it is food. If open is noticeably overweight then they should be aware of it and if they are not, there is a problem. Being overweight isn't the problem the lifestyle that causes it however is. I don't see anything wrong with the comment. OP sounds like the kind of people that asks for help then gets mad when it is giving. f the psychiatrists life. "Today, while doing my job a prison came in with a weight problem asking me to help figure out what is wrong with her I asked the obvious question and I though she was going to kill me."

(sorry OP*, person*) I'm not saying overweight people should be talked down too or treated like garbage for it. I've dealt with so many addictions in the people i care about that the ones addicted to food are the one by far in the worst denial of any of them.

If a doctor is concerned about your weight, perhaps you SHOULD be, OP. FYL.
