Today, my psychiatrist said, "Well, good luck." at the end of my appointment. FML

Would you rather they told you to fuck off?

With finding a new psychiatrist who can help you more??? ;-)
---
Actually, it's not always easy finding a psychiatrist/ psychologist with whom you can work well. Sad but true. Hope you utilize both though. Med docs aren't always careful enough with how they say things. :-(
For an effective CBT tome, see Dr. David Burns' "Feeling Good: New Mood Therapy" - a good read since 1980. Good luck, OP!

I guess they didn’t fix your paranoia this session.
How did they say good luck? Was it a way that suggested the meds were useless and luck is your only hope? Or did they say it sarcastically, so that their real wish is for your bad luck?
