Today, my mom was acting really pissy, and I couldn't help but mutter that she must be on her period. Five hours later, I'm glued to the toilet with my phone, because she went all out for revenge and spiked my dinner with some hellishly potent kind of laxative. FML

Today, I'm stuck at home waiting on a plumber to come fix the flooding in my basement. The flooding happens when any sink, shower, or toilet in the house is used. Today is also the day that I started my period. Without water. FML

Today, I envy all the mothers who get to hide in their bathroom, engulfed in tears, when at their breaking points. I'm a single mom of two heathens. Today, like most days, really I had to threaten violence at the top of my lungs so they would stop fighting long enough for me to simply use the bathroom. FML

to all the women bitching about the horrors of p.m.s, I thin you forget that men hardly have an easy ride, things like being caught with an uncontrollable erection in church/at a funeral/at a daycare centre/while giving a speech all of which happened to me before the age of 16. not to forget the countless times the average man receives a nut-kicking. last week I recieved such a hit while sparring with a jui-juitsu instructor, don't bitch to me about pissing blood!
