Today, I woke up bleeding from every orifice in my body. I've got a nose bleed from my medication, my gums bled when I brushed my teeth, I'm on my period, and I have hemorrhoids. FML

Today, my mom told me how lucky I was to inherit her "asymptomatic" periods. It's true, I don't get cramps, bloating or mood swings with my periods. Nope, just excruciatingly painful diarrhea. Thanks, mom. FML

Today, my mom was acting really pissy, and I couldn't help but mutter that she must be on her period. Five hours later, I'm glued to the toilet with my phone, because she went all out for revenge and spiked my dinner with some hellishly potent kind of laxative. FML

Today, I'm stuck at home waiting on a plumber to come fix the flooding in my basement. The flooding happens when any sink, shower, or toilet in the house is used. Today is also the day that I started my period. Without water. FML

Today, I envy all the mothers who get to hide in their bathroom, engulfed in tears, when at their breaking points. I'm a single mom of two heathens. Today, like most days, really I had to threaten violence at the top of my lungs so they would stop fighting long enough for me to simply use the bathroom. FML

Okay, I'm a girl and I hate it when women use their period to bash on men. Sure, if you are in pain and he is saying you shouldn't be such a child, it's okay, but when you just have moodswings or something, control it. I tend to get really emotional when I'm on my period. As in, happy -> crying -> rage, and I just tell my boyfriend that it's because I'm on my period and I won't take it out on him. Sure, I won't be a happy ray of sunshine, but you don't have to punish a guy for not having to deal with mentruation. Not his fault. Get over it ladies.
