Well I may be quite the opposite, I prefer wine to beer, but I also like liquor. Though I have nothing against people who prefer beer, it's cheaper anyway.

...but wine sucks. It's a matter of taste! You can't judge people by their tastebuds, only manners while drinking and such. You could try putting beer in a stem glass I guess, maybe that would pacify her?

I did that once with some really cheap beer. xD But really though, whether you prefer beer, wine, liquor, none or all does not determine your "ladylikeness" or "sluttiness".
