Today, my girlfriend's best friend told me she was in hospital after having made a suicide attempt. In shock, I had a panic attack and ended up in the hospital myself. Turns out it was all a lie to see whether or not I was committed to the relationship. FML

You realize panic attacks are brought on my a neurological disorder that he has no control over. So how he could possibly be told YDI or grow a pair or whatever is rediculous. Wow I wish people were educated.

I'd leave her. I think it's okay if OP's girlfriend wants to see if OP is committed to their relationship and I think maybe there are ways that she could find out. But I don't believe resorting to such methods is the way to do it. There are just some things in life that shouldn't be taken lightly and I think maybe OP's girlfriend is slightly messed up if she does things like that.

And I wish you would think a bit harder before replying, 145, since it's obvious 138 meant to reply to the comment just below. Even without seeing it, it doesn't take a lot of thinking to see that even if 138 wouldn't have gotten the sarcasm in #7's comment, his comment makes absolutely no sense, since #7 didn't talk about "growing a pair" or said YDI.
