Paraguay isn't exactly a well known country, not everyone knows every single country and it's location...

I have to admit that while I did know which continent to start looking at, I couldn't have told you from memory exactly where to find Paraguay (but I would probably have found it within a very short time if given a map with the names of the countries). What I'm trying to say is that you boyfriend is not necessarily stupid because he can't locate countries, he may just be uninformed in that area. And don't bet $200 if you're not prepared to lose them - especially not on the intelligence of your boyfriend defined by a test that doesn't really say much about it overall intelligence.

I find it disturbingly sad that you people commenting are this harsh. Me, being from Canada- we don't learn anything about 'the world'. We learn about Canada. I've heard of Paraguay maybe once in my life.... couldn't locate it on a map though. Didn't even know it was in South America. Imo, ydi for being so pathetic. F your boyfriends life for being with you.

I can honestly say I had no idea where it is, but I knew it was real. I don't care about geography. Knowing where Paraguay is does not make me an idiot. Until there is an actual need for me to know I could careless about that place or finding it on the map. Fyi, unless her bf is a geography teacher, a student studying geography or in high school and just learned this..I think she needs to chill out and get over it. Sounds like a bitch to me.

I can find every South American country but Paraguay on a blank map. Does that count?
