Today, my boyfriend woke up wheezing terribly, aching, and sneezing. He's allergic to cats. I have 2 and they are my babies. He gave me an ultimatum, him or the cats. I haven't figured out how I'm going to tell him that I choose the cats. FML

Today, after being diagnosed with cat allergies, I explained to my cat-loving boyfriend that the doctor strongly recommended not allowing the cat in the bedroom. At 1:30 a.m. my boyfriend got out of the bed to go sleep in the spare room because, "the cat is sad." FML

To all of you people who say she did the right thing choosing the cats instead of her boyfriend, imagine if the roles were reversed, the boyfriend having the cats and the girlfriend being allergic. Imagine the story like that.

I would've done the same thing. I wouldn't ever put some girlfriend/boyfriend over my precious dog. I love him more than anything! Only I wouldn't have pondered for a while over how to tell him. The second he have me the ultimatum, I'd tell him to get the **** out XD

Pets are for life, and he's a boyfriend, not husband. My animals are one of my life passions, one of the things that makes my life whole. I don't want to share my life with someone who can't or won't accept that. He can get pills or compromise by making certain rooms off limits to pets.

You are a terrible, disgusting asshole and you should feel ashamed. As someone who is allergic to cats, I know unbearable it can be, you are just a jerk who was undeniably cruel to your bf, for some animals. Shame!
