As a singer who had her vocal chords damaged by coughing you should NEVER cough that hard. You should cough lightly. It actually helps more than violently coughing.

Uh, what? When did people get the ability to control how hard they cough? Like if I have a severe cold or flu or something, there is no stopping the cough. FEAR THE COUGH
