Today, it's the third day my ring won't come off. I used soap, vegetable oil, lotion, soaked my hand in ice to make the swelling of my finger to come down, and even my mom pulled so hard she dislocated my finger. FML

Today, my hand was stung by a wasp. It has resulted in all my fingers being swollen and therefore much bigger than usual. I'm getting married tomorrow and there's no way I can get the ring on my finger. FML

Today, my boyfriend told me that the ring I wear on my ring finger needs to come off because it's too big. It's too big because I bought it for him and he gave it back to me 6 months later. I've been wearing it on the same finger for the last 3 months with no problems. FML

Today, I accidentally dropped my engagement ring down a sewer. To my surprise, the sewer water was frozen and my ring sat on top. During my efforts to retrieve it, I had to watch as the ice slowly melted due to the warm day. The ring sank further and further until it was completely gone. FML

This happened to my Mom once with her ring finger. It got really swollen and the ring had to be cut off because it couldn't just be left on with how swollen her finger had gotten. I hope you dont lose an important ring...

I found holding my hand up over my head helped the blood rush away from the finger. about 10 mins should be good. that happened to me the other day!

Buy a Dremel tool at Home Depot for $40, slowly and carefully cut a deep knick into the ring, then break it ff. Once the ring is off, tak it to a jewelry store. Repair is about $39, resized about $50. Return Dremel to Home Depot for full refund.

When they put a ring on fat, stupid, slow-moving creatures, it's not removable jewelry. It's called "banding" and it lets scientists track your movements, thus preventing false earthquake alarms when it is just you lumbering about.

soaking your hand in ice will make it swell, not shrink. try taking some diurex and getting into a sauna, then use baby oil to get it off. same thing happened to me when I was pregnant. leave the ring off til the swelling goes away.
