Today, it's the third day my ring won't come off. I used soap, vegetable oil, lotion, soaked my hand in ice to make the swelling of my finger to come down, and even my mom pulled so hard she dislocated my finger. FML

Have you lost your damn mind? Three days and you're still sitting at home? If the ring doesn't come off for a few HOURS you're supposed to go to a jeweler. They cut it off. Or if it's too serious go to the ER. GOOD god 3 days? Now it will almost impossible to remove because of the massive swelling. You deserve it for being a complete moron.

u can break it.. i think jewellers can do that.. they have a scissor for that.. u can always fix a broken ring, and even if u cant, its a lot easier than dislocating ur finger ...

You can also try a warm bath with a lot of salt - the salt water will draw water out of your skin, making your fingers shrink, and the warm water will help the ring expand. I know this works - this is how hubby lost his wedding ring when we were swiming in the ocean! (on our honeymoon)

I got a ring stuck before. my bf's dad had to cut it off. when I took it to the jeweler to get it fixed they said if it ever happens again to use windex on it.
