Can't guarantee it'll work but with one of my grandmas rings a while back she couldnt get it off so my mom put pil on her finger and then you slip a thread under the ring if you can then wind the thread around the top part of your finger, start pulling the thread that is behind your ring and close to your hand and just follow the winding of the thread and it should come off. No guarantees though

raise the hand with the ring on it over your head for about 10 seconds, it might work, it has worked for me and some people that I know of

Spray windex on your finger. Although if it's already swollen from you and your mom's ministrations you may have to go to the hospital and have it cut off (the ring not your finger).

wrap dental floss tightly around just below ur knuckle to to the bottom of the ring. thread the end of the floss under the ring. when u pull that end, it should force the ring over ur fat knuckle and off ur finger. that's how we're taught to get a ring off if u can't cut it off. ( I'm a paramedic who works in the oil sands and we are in the middle of nowhere...)

if you want ur ring to swell you should have soaked ur hand in WARM water, putting ur hand in cold water actually makes is shrink. did you know that when they make railways they actually they have little spaces everywhere cuz if they dont the rail gets all crocked when its warm outside.
