Today, it's my birthday. I was excited because of all the wall posts I got on Facebook. Then I saw I got a "Happy Birthday" from the girl my boyfriend cheated on me with. FML

Your boyfriend could have started, and she can be innocent as she probably did not know. Other than that, I'm losing faith in humanity if people these days get excited over Facebook wallposts. Birthday - Facebook = No one remembers.

It could be written in a sarcastic / passive aggressive manner. Depends on the circumstances/details about which were not added in the FML. Kind of like a bully kicking a kid and saying "happy birthday" - it would not be a nice gesture.
