Today, I was woken up by a loud noise, which I thought was an earthquake. It sounded like a car had driven right into my living room. Which was exactly what it was. FML

That's what "property damage" is for when you buy car insurance, but most policies don't cover amounts as high as this is likely to need... You have homeowners insurance, I hope? On a side note, how did this person deserve it? For not putting up a giant display in their yard that says 'Please use your better judgment and do not veer off of the road into my living room.'?

God that sucks. That happened to a neighbor of mine about ten years ago, it took them over a year to get everything fixed. :(
