Today, I was the designated driver. On the way home with my drunk friends, they decide to give me a beer shower. I swerved, and was pulled over by a cop moments after. I was the only one arrested. FML

I would think the real problem wasn't the swerving or beer smell but rather the open container. I don't know about Florida but the states I've been don't allow alcohol to be open in the car.

Wait... What about sobriety test's, did the cop forget about that If the cop arrested you without doing the field sobriety test (which is standard procedure) well then he's an asshole

he probably wasn't arrested for a DWI it was more than likely the open container was the reason...

I think it's kind of dumb that the driver is always responsible. It wasn't his fault that THEY opened the beer. But that's just me.

21 - It's called a "DUI" or Driving Under Influence.

This is why you keep the alcohol in the trunk so that the drunk idiots can't open it and get you in trouble.

#95 there is such a thing called a DWI? BTW WTF does DWI means?

It's driving while intoxicated.... And it was changed because DUI references alcohol, while DWI encompasses drugs as well as alcohol...

It is also called DWI "driving while intoxicated" if you are going to correct someone you should make sure your right first.

Driving while intoxicated, it's a term that is also used

I believe DUI is used as a general term when you can be under the influence of anything, and DWI is well the obvious you ate driving drunk.

In a lot of other places, some here in the states at least, it's called DWI - driving while intoxicated

They thought beer smell was better than that axe spray

wouldn't they have to give you a test o see if you consumed alcohol?

illegal to drive with an open container

one again proving "No good deed goes unpunished"
