Today, I was going through my mom's closet. On one of the shelves, I found two baby books. One was mine, the other was one for a dog she owned before I was born. I looked through them both. The dog's baby book was filled out more than mine was. FML

Your FML seems to be that she loved the dog more, but in reality, she spent more of her time after you were born interacting with you, instead of filling out a stupid scrapbook.

Just because she filled out the dogs book more then yours doesn't mean all that much. At least your mother took the time, and you should realize there's more to life then a couple dozen photographs. Also, babies aren't the same as dogs, meaning that babies are more demanding and (should) require more time and effort then a pet. I don't think this is really an FML.

puppys don't nonstop cry waking you up at night and love to cuddle, what do babies do? exactly :)

You deserve it for going through your moms closet like a stalker, creep.

Babies are very, very demanding. She probably had far less time to fill out a book for you...

She was busier with you. Babies are a hand full and a joy but your always tired. Puppies just pee on the rug... Lol don't take it personal

To be fair, taking care of a dog is a lot less time-consuming than taking care of a child. She just didn't have as much time with your scrapbook because she was busy doing things with you.

It's much easier to keep track of a puppies milestones as they happen so much faster and require less attention.

My baby book is also more detailed than that of my younger sister. I would never doubt that my mum loved her as much as me, but she had a baby that wouldn't sleep through the night (unlike the first one) and a toddler who was not only extremely curious but also could run and climb and was able to act on that curiosity. Let's just say she had enough to do day and night and more important things to do than fill out two baby books.
